Originally from the States, Joey is a recent graduate from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA). He has a certificate in Directing for the Theatre from RADA Short Courses and a passion for amplifying LGBTQ+ stories.

CURRENTLY

Joey is Assistant Directing the 2024/2025 UK/International tour of SealSkin. The show is produced by Tmesis Theatre and directed by Eli Randle.

This holiday season, Joey is Stage Manager on Peter Pan. It’s an inaugural holiday production produced by the Grange Theatre and directed by Thomas Frith.

PREVIOUSLY

Joey assistant directed Richard, My Richard; a co-production between Shakespeare North Playhouse and Theatre Royal Bury St. Edmunds. It was directed by Katie Posner and ran from 8 - 30 March 2024 and 11 - 27 April 2024.

Last holiday season, Joey assistant directed The Rock 'n' Roll Panto Cinderella at Liverpool’s Everyman. It was directed by James Baker and ran from 17 Nov - 20 Jan 2024.

In June 2023, Joey was the assistant to the director, Eli Randle, and stage manager for SealSkin at Liverpool’s Everyman. The show opened Physical Fest 2023!

In February 2023, Joey hosted the post show discussion for Stuart Crowther’s Algebra at the Unity Theatre, Liverpool.

In November 2022, Joey assistant directed, movement coordinated, and was cast in Masquerade. The show was directed by James Baker, produced by Bill Elms Productions, and played Liverpool’s Epstein Theatre.
